Tracey is an Independent Science Consultant with extensive experience in supporting secondary schools, with a focus on leadership, teaching and learning, curriculum development and assessment in science.
She is an accredited Senior Professional Development Leader with STEM Learning, with whom she also holds several other roles, such as advising groups of schools working together through ENTHUSE Partnerships and in supporting hubs to plan and deliver a relevant and effective professional development programme to best support teachers and leaders of science.
Tracey is also an AQA Science Advocate and Edexcel Science Credible Expert, developing and presenting curriculum and assessment support materials relevant to each Awarding Organisation.
She is an author and editor of many published textbooks and curriculum resources, including the award-winning ‘Collins KS3 Now’ series and the new ‘Collins KS4 Now’ resources, and has advised on several BBC projects, producing educational videos and resources for BBC Teach and BBC Bitesize.
Away from work, Tracey is the Vice Chair of Governors at the secondary school that both of her boys attended. She is also a swimming teacher, teaching both adults and children. She also enjoys time spent on her own fitness, including long walks with her two dogs.
