About me
Damian joined the AQA Science team in 2023 as a Curriculum Support Manager and has recently taken on the role of Science Lead. With over 20 years teaching experience, he has worked across a wide variety of schools delivering support, school improvement and training. Damian also worked as a Science Consultant as part of the Secondary National Strategy. He has extensive leadership experience through these diverse roles in Merseyside and Lancashire schools and holds an NPQH.
Damian has a Post Graduate Certificate in Education with specialism in Biology. He is enthusiastic in making science accessible to all students and has an interest in shaping the lives of future science teachers. He enjoys any science practical which engages and develops students’ knowledge, skills and understanding and promotes a love of science.
